Deposit
The deposit required will secure the date of the booking and for equipment protection, to ensure everything is collected as it is left. The customer agrees to be responsible for the maintenance and safe keeping of all equipment whilst in their care. Any damage caused to the equipment whilst in the client’s care will be redeemed using the holding deposit, for rectification of the equipment. The customer is responsible for providing the full cost of any equipment damaged in their possession. A full list of replacement costs can be provided by Atlantis Hot Tub & Cinema Hire upon request. The deposit will be transferred back to the customer after the hire as long as there are no damages.
Cancellations
We understand sometimes cancellations may have to be carried out. However, upon reserving your place in the booking system we wouldn’t have been able to sell your slot elsewhere. Therefore, if you wished to cancel your booking, the £50 will be held until we can find a replacement for your slot, then refunded so long as we can find a replacement.
We have the right to cancel your booking in high winds.
Payment
The payment of hire at the agreed rate is due during the set-up process of hire.
Hot Tub Hire
Disclaimer (DO’S & DON’TS)
DO’s
- Do read our COVID-19 regulations and follow the government guidelines.
- Do shower before entering the hot tub.
- Do put something down to wash or wipe your feet on before entering the hot tub.
- Do clean the filters as instructed.
- Do keep the water level topped up as instructed.
- Do add chemicals as instructed.
- Do keep the thermal cover on when not in use.
DON’TS
- Do not exceed the recommended capacity of the hot tub.
- Do not turn the hot tub off overnight.
- Do not allow young children in the tub unsupervised. Under 10’s not advised to use hot tub.
- Do not have any electrical objects near the hot tub.
- Do not use glasses or sharp objects of any description in the hot tub. Plastic glasses are suitable.
- Do not allow the water level to drop below the top of the filter.
- Do not stand, sit or place anything on the motor housing or hot tub cover.
- Do not consume alcohol whilst using the hot tub.
- Do not use the hot tub whilst under the influence of Drugs or Alcohol.
- Do not use the hot tub if you have an infectious disease.
- Do not use the LED lights if you suffer from any form of epilepsy.
- Do not enter the hot tub with clothes on, only wear suitable swimming attire.
- Do not enter the hot tub with footwear on.
- Do not allow animals near the hot tub.
- Do not dive or jump into the hot tub.
- Do not sit on the sides of the hot tub
- Do not use the hot tub if pregnant or after strenuous exercise.
- Do not under any circumstances try to move the hot tub once installed.
- Do not empty the hot tub to clean.
- Do not drain down the hot tub at all unless you have spoken to us and we have agreed.
- Do not remove suction fitting cover, this is to prevent risk of injury to body and/or hair entrapment.
- Do not enter the hot tub with any cuts or open wounds as this causes contamination.
- Do not operate your spa if the suction fitting(s) are broken or missing. Contact us.
- Do not run the lay-z-spa massage whilst the cover is on as this may cause a vacuum.
- Do not use your spa alone.
Terms & Conditions
- Atlantis Hot Tub Hire company will not be held responsible for any damage, injuries or death resulting from the misuse of our hot tubs. We will also not be held responsible for any damage caused by the hot tub to lawns, patios or decking or any water damage to anything whatsoever. It is your responsibility to make sure nothing gets damaged. We can only advise you on any possible problems that could arise.
- We will not be held responsible for any chemical or allergic reactions. If this is a likely result of using out hot tubs, please consult your doctor before use.
- You must exercise caution to prevent unauthorised access to your spa. Ensure your spa cover is securely fastened when spa is not in use. There is NO GUARANTEE that the cover, actual lock or clip tie downs will prevent access to your spa.
- In the winter months if you have finished using the spa it needs to be left switched on to prevent freezing pipes.
- Once the hot tub is full remove the hose pipe to stop back siphoning.
- Any damage caused to the hot tub will need to be paid for and if your deposit does not cover the replacement of the part cost and you do not willingly pay for it then we will pursue a claim in the small claims court. Further to this, we are not responsible for any punchers that may occur during your rental and therefore refunds will not be provided. If we have evidence that you caused a puncher your deposit will be taken to pay for a repair kit.
- No more than 4 adults for Lay Z Spa Bali tubs and 7 adults for the Lay Z Spa St Moritz tubs, in the hot tub at any one time.
- Limit the time spent when using your spa since long exposures at warm temperatures can cause high body temperature. Symptoms may include dizziness, nausea, fainting, drowsiness, and reduced awareness, resulting in possible drowning. Prolonged immersion in a spa may be hazardous to your health.
- Spa water temperature should never exceed 104°F (40°C). Temperatures between 100°F (38°C) and 104°F (40°C) are considered safe for healthy adults for up to twenty minutes. For young children, lower water temperatures are recommended.
- Consult your physician before using your spa, especially if you suffer from heart disease, diabetes, high or low blood pressure, a condition needing medical treatment, pregnant women, infants or the elderly.
- You will be shown how to maintain the water and keep it clear for pleasant bathing. If you do not follow our instructions and the water becomes dirty which in turn clogs up the heater pump then we will not be held responsible for the hot tub cutting out and not working correctly. If we are available and only if we are available, we will come out to fix such issues at a fixed call out cost of £50 to you the customer.
- Please take care of all accessories hired with the Spa to ensure they do not get damaged and ensure all items are returned in the same condition as delivered.
Outdoor Cinema Hire
Popcorn Maker
Items Needed:
- Popcorn Machine
- Popcorn Kernels
- Oil for Popping
- Measuring Devices
- Bowl
- Seasoning (sugar, salt etc.)
Popcorn Cooking Steps:
- Add your popcorn kernels and oil into your device. Do not put anything else in the popcorn kettle (the bucket device in the middle of the machine).
- After adding the ingredients listen for them to start popping.
- When it stops popping, switch the machine off and turn the kettle part over, so the popcorn falls in the.
- Season it with sugar or salt and enjoy!
NOTE: Exercise caution when touching the machine or popcorn after use as this will be hot.
Bring Inside
- Projector and wires. PLEASE WAIT A FEW MOMENTS BEFORE TOUCHING THE PROJECTOR AS IT MAY STILL BE WARM. Wrap the wires around the projector and place this in the bag provided before bringing it inside to avoid damage overnight.
- Popcorn/pick and mix machine. AGAIN, PLEASE MAKE SURE THE MACHINE IS UNPLUGGED AND COOLED DOWN BEFORE MOVING. If you could bring this inside to avoid it falling if the winds pick up within the gazebo.
- DVD player to be brought in with the projector if used.
- If heavy winds are predicted the Atlantis Reps have the right to ask the consumer to bring other equipment inside to avoid any potential damage. If items are left outside after being asked to be brought inside, this will forfeit the deposit if items are damaged.

DO’S
- Do read our COVID-19 regulations and follow the government guidelines.
- Do respect the inflatable chairs.
- Do maintain our equipment as it was left.
- Do bring all equipment inside that is listed in the ‘bring inside’ section of this document and any potential additional equipment asked by Atlantis staff. If items are left outside after being asked to be brought inside, this will forfeit the deposit if items are damaged.
- Do read our popcorn machine instructions before use.
- Do supervise young children if using our pic ‘n’ mix or popcorn machine.
- Do operate all electrical devices with caution.
- Do make sure all of the electrical equipment/lights are switched off when leaving your outdoor cinema.
- Do use our table for food and drinks.
- Do stay away from all wires, the projector and screen.
- Do discuss projector connections (HDMI etc.) prior to use.
- Do be mindful of the volume within the cinema hire.
- Do exercise caution when eating pop corn or Atlantis pick and mix. Ask for allergy information.
- Do tidy up any mess. We will not be picking up porn corn on take down.
- Do keep all of our equipment clean.
- Do speak to an Atlantis Rep if you have any questions prior to use.
DON’TS
- Do not exceed the maximum weight of 95KG or 15st. on our inflatable chairs.
- Do not leave the outdoor heaters unattended under any circumstances.
- Do not wear footwear on the inflatable chairs and foot-rests.
- Do not have any drinks near the electrical equipment.
- Do not allow animals within the cinema hire or near the equipment.
- Do not adjust the projector and stand once positioned correctly.
- Do not move the patio heaters.
- Do not bounce on the inflatable chairs. If there is evidence of mistreatment to the chairs the customer will be required to pay £25 per chair as a replacement fee. This is including but not limited to: punctures, large spillages, pen marks or other vandalism.
Terms and Conditions
- Atlantis Hot Tub Hire company will not be held responsible for any damage, or injuries resulting from the misuse of our equipment. We will also not be held responsible for any damage caused by the equipment to lawns, patios or decking to anything whatsoever. It is your responsibility to make sure nothing gets damaged.
